It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

I know, I know it is not even Halloween yet. But as the stores put out Christmas decorations for sale for those early shoppers, we are also preparing for Christmas.
Our church Thanksgiving meal will be Wednesday, November 5th at 6:00 pm. You may be saying, that is awful early for a Thanksgiving meal, but we always have the meal the first Wednesday in November so we can start preparing for the Mustang Christmas Village.
We will meet in the gym at 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 6th to move the MCV buildings over from the bus barn. The more help we have the less time it will take to move the set. It usually takes about an hour and half to get it all moved. Then on Saturday, November 8th we will start the construction of the set at 8:00 am. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. We will be done before noon and donuts will be provided.
If you are new to the church and don’t know what the Mustang Christmas Village is, it is our gift to the community. We transform our gym into a Victorian Christmas village and the first two weeks in December we will host school choirs to come sing in the village. We also hand out freshly baked cookies, hot chocolate, candy, and dill pickles.
So be here on November 6th and 8th and let’s get the Christmas season kicked off. You don’t need to bring any tools but gloves may help.
