Preschool Update
by Bridgette Lancaster - Preschool Ministry Coordinator
“For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands.” I John 5:3a
The Preschool and Children’s departments started a new curriculum on Wednesday nights. It is called Faithful Promises. It is a walk through the Old Testament to show God’s faithfulness. We have only been doing it for a few weeks, but I just love seeing the kids get excited about the different things we do. It is great to hear from the kids and the parents that they are learning during our time together. I love the key verse that we had for a few weeks. It tells the kids that in obeying God we are showing our love for Him.
On Sundays, we recently started The Gospel Project. It is teaching some of the same lessons we are doing on Wednesdays. Repetition is a great thing for kids. I also love that babies through some of our adult classes are doing the same curriculum. It is a great way for families to get to discuss what they learned during each or their lesson times.
It is an exciting time down in the Preschool hall. We are learning new things and we are growing. We can always use more volunteers. We could use some more help on Wednesday evenings and during ETC on Sunday Mornings. If you are interested in helping out, please let me know.
Many Blessings,
Bridgette Lancaster
