Through All - Trust God

By Rusty Stowe - Senior Adult Pastor
Ephesians 6:16 identifies faith as a shield capable of extinguishing the flaming arrows of the evil one. Just be careful, your confidence in God is a primary target for the devil. Just as an out- dated or unused shield provides ineffective protection.

Knowing this, God implores you not to throw away our confidence. Confidence is a function of trust. Love is the perfect soil for growing trust. God is love and He is so worthy of our trust. God and His Word are one. God, who cannot lie, watches over His word to make it come true. So, take refuge in God’s commitment to you.

In Jeremiah 31:3 we read: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.

Joshua 1:5 tells us: “…As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

When difficult circumstance arise – and they will arise,  know they are perfect platforms to demonstrate God’s grace and sovereignty in our lives.

In Isaiah the Lord says: “Even in your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” (Isaiah 46:4)

Throughout the Word of God, we are challenged to wholeheartedly TRUST God.

Have a great week and trust in a loving God.
