Tailgate Time

Football season has started  and that can only mean one thing. It’s time for the Tailgate Cook Off!

That’s right Sunday night October 12 is the CHBC annual Tailgate Cook Off fellowship. If you are not familiar with the cook off let me fill you in on what it is. Firstly, it is a cooking competition where those that enter the competition will make their favorite tail gate food either a savory or dessert dish. They are asked to turn a serving in to be judged and also have samples of their dish for those attending the event to eat. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place in the savory category and dessert category. There will also be a 6v6 sand volleyball tournament as well as a cornhole tournament. There is plenty of things for the kiddos also, including a bounce house, snow cones and a firetruck for them to see.  

So invite your friends, neighbors and people on the street to come join us for a great time of fun and fellowship.
